Description
Overview
Duo Surface Downlight is a ceiling-mounted, twin-head luminaire aimed at retail, hospitality, and gallery environments where colour accuracy and precise beam placement are primary requirements. Each head carries a high-CRI COB chip from Purui (US origin), delivering Ra >98 and a colour consistency of less than 3 SDCM — tolerances that matter in merchandising and artwork display where metamerism and source-to-source variation are visible to the naked eye.
Optics and Adjustment
Interchangeable optics cover three beam angles — 15°, 24°, and 36° — spanning a range from accent punch to soft wash. Each head rotates through 270°, giving the installer broad pointing freedom without re-positioning the base. An anti-glare honeycomb louvre is available as an upgrade when direct glare must be controlled in low-ceiling or eye-level viewing conditions.
Construction
The housing is formed from high-purity aluminium, which keeps thermal resistance low and extends LED service life. The driver is isolated and accepts 85–265 V AC, making the luminaire suitable for international projects without voltage configuration.
