Senso 75 Presence Downlight

Overview

Senso 75 is a sensor-integrated recessed downlight for spaces where occupancy-based switching reduces energy use without separate controls wiring. The PIR body sensor and photocell are housed directly in the die-cast aluminium body, keeping the ceiling plane clean.

Optical and Sensor Construction

A Bridgelux COB array delivers a 24° beam with CRI > Ra 90 and colour consistency held to < 3 SDCM across production batches. The photocell threshold is factory-set at 6 lux: above that level the PIR circuit is inhibited entirely, so the fitting remains off during daylight regardless of movement. Once armed, it responds to motion within a 3–4 m radius and holds the lamp on for 40 seconds after the last detected presence.

Driver and Installation

An isolated driver accepts 85–265 V AC, covering most global supply voltages without adjustment. The fitting mounts into a 75 mm ceiling cut-out; overall body diameter is 85 mm with a 50 mm depth behind the ceiling plane.

Back-of-house corridors, stairwells, storage rooms, plant-room access routes, and similar occupancy-variable interiors where a clean ceiling aesthetic and automatic switching are both required.
