Overview

Vela Anti-Glare Downlight is a recessed ceiling luminaire built for commercial and hospitality interiors where consistent, glare-controlled ambient light is required. The housing is formed from high-purity aluminium, balancing thermal management with a low-profile ceiling presence.

Optics and Construction

The fixed 120° beam angle delivers broad, diffuse coverage suited to open-plan offices, corridors, hotel rooms, and retail spaces. An SMD chip array with CRI >Ra85 and colour consistency held within 3 SDCM ensures colour fidelity remains stable across a single installation and between replacement units. Six CCT options — from 2700 K to 6000 K — allow the same fitting to serve warm residential schemes through to cool commercial environments.

Electrical

The isolated driver accepts a wide 85–265 V input, making the fitting compatible with varying supply voltages across markets and tolerant of fluctuating building supplies. The tilt is fixed; the fitting is intended for installations where the aiming geometry is resolved at ceiling level.
