Description
Construction
Solus 48 is a shallow recessed spotlight built around a full-spectrum COB source from Bridgelux (USA). The housing is die-cast aluminium with an integral heatsink, keeping the 48 mm profile without compromising thermal management. A reflector cup is available in four finishes — white, gun-black with bright silver trim, matte black, and matte white — allowing the aperture to recede or contrast against the ceiling as the design requires.
Optics and Control
Three interchangeable beam angles (15°, 24°, 36°) cover accent, general, and wall-wash duties from a single fixture family. The ±25° tilt range lets installers redirect the beam after the ceiling is finished. CRI exceeds Ra 90 across all CCT options, and colour consistency is held within 3 SDCM, making it suitable for applications where adjacent fixtures must match.
Driver
The isolated driver accepts a wide input voltage of 85–265 V, accommodating both 110 V and 230 V installations. Power factor is rated at 0.6.
