Solara 90 Anti-Glare Downlight

Overview

The Solara 90 is a recessed downlight designed where accurate colour reproduction and moisture resistance are non-negotiable — kitchen worktops, food-display alcoves, and bathroom ceilings are its natural territory. A 90° flood optic fills a surface evenly without harsh cut-off, while the anti-glare trim keeps the luminous zone contained within the aperture.

Optical and Electrical Construction

The light engine draws on chips from OSRAM, Cree, or Lumileds, binned to < 3 SDCM for consistent white point across a run of fixtures. A CRI above Ra 98 renders food, textiles, and skin tones with minimal spectral compromise. The isolated driver operates across a wide 85–265 V input, accommodating both 110 V and 230 V supplies without a separate SKU. Power factor is 0.6.

Mechanical Construction

The housing is high-purity aluminium. Two aperture sizes serve different ceiling build-ups: a compact 75 mm cut-out option and a deeper 90 mm cut-out variant for thicker plasterboard or tile finishes. Both ship in white.
