Description

Overview

The Duo COB Recessed Spotlight is a twin-head downlight designed for applications where two independently directed light beams are needed from a single ceiling aperture. Each head carries a Bridgelux COB array and can be tilted up to 25° off-axis, allowing simultaneous coverage of adjacent display surfaces or a combination of ambient wash and directional accent from one cut-out.

Optical Construction

Four interchangeable beam angles — 15°, 24°, 36°, and 55° — cover the range from tight spot to broad wash. The reflector cup is available in white or gunmetal black; the black interior reduces inter-reflections for higher contrast in darkened retail or gallery settings. Colour rendering exceeds Ra90 and colour consistency is held within 3 SDCM, supporting accurate product and artwork presentation.

Mechanical Construction

The housing is a single-piece die-cast aluminium shell, which provides both structural rigidity and passive thermal management for the COB arrays. An isolated wide-voltage driver (85–265 V, PF 0.6) is integrated, enabling installation across varying supply conditions without a separate driver enclosure.
