Meridian 83 Wall-Wash Spotlight

Overview

The Meridian 83 is a recessed wall-wash spotlight intended for museum display, gallery, retail, and high-end residential environments where colour accuracy and tight chromatic consistency are non-negotiable. Its NICHIA LED source delivers CRI greater than Ra97 — a threshold suited to applications where surface materials, artworks, or merchandise must read true under artificial light.

Optical Construction

Three interchangeable beam angles (15°, 24°, 36°) allow the same fixture to serve accent, wall-wash, and grazing duties. The optic assembly sits within a glare-control aperture available in oil-black, gunmetal black, or electroplated black, keeping the ceiling plane visually quiet.

Mechanical Construction

The housing is a unibody die-cast aluminium shell — thermally efficient and dimensionally stable. A vertical tilt of 30° combined with a 15 mm horizontal offset provides sufficient aiming range for off-axis targets without ceiling recess modifications. The trim ring is finished in oil-white.

Driver

The fixture is powered by a Keen driver (锐高) rated 85–265 V with a power factor of 0.97, making it compatible with international supply voltages.
